  1. I absolutely 100% agree with you! There is no TV in my house either ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m the type of person that tries to stay positive & laughing always. It doesn’t always work but I keep trying.

  2. Yay!! I agree with you, too ๐Ÿ™‚ We watch our share of TV when we get home at night, but we’re selective about what we watch (MTV’s classic “Daria” on DVD suits us just fine lol), and it doesn’t take the place of low-tech bonding activities like wandering, pondering talks or reading to each other out loud. WONDERFUL video, girl – I love your style <3

      1. Lol! I can imagine! I love your voice ๐Ÿ˜Š. I always cringed at the sound of my own lol. I’ve been thinking about making videos for a while now, and it’s really cool to see you do them! You’re amazing! Mwah ๐Ÿ˜˜โค๏ธ

        1. You are making me blush! I like to prep my materials in advance. Normally I shoot the video about 3-5x’s before I get the take I like. Sometimes I get four-legged interruptions.

          1. Lol you too? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿพ. That…would be me as well lol. They’d either sniff right up to the camera, knock it over, or nuzzle their hindquarters/tails into it, blocking the view. Or if I closed the door, there’d be this continuous background soundtrack of banging/thumping and meowing lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway. ๐Ÿ˜‰. Yeah, these are really well done! They sound natural, too – not forced. Your prepping pays off! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ž

          2. The critters are always around, they make me practice / reshoot. Sometimes I am writing these scripts in my head for weeks before I feel ready to make the actual video. Every time I shoot the video over it gets a bit better but my goal is to shoot it in 3 takes. I also keep them short so I don’t ramble – because I WILL do that.

  3. Lovely, vibrant vid — it’s useful to be reminded that, though it sometimes feels a wee bit ruthless to distance myself from certain people, it’s essential for wellbeing to have just the right people around us.
Keep up the good posts. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. Well said… and I like “energy vampires” (the term, not the vampires!). I must remember that… I sometimes call them life-leeches but the effect is the same, sadly.
        Have a great weekend!

  4. Yes! What you put out is what you attract. It is so true. I’ve worked on surrounding myself with positive people. It has helped me tremendously. Stay positive! Have a wonderful day.
