I like how unmasking a bit at work helped free you to do those things you needed to make work easier for you. It is a bit paradoxical how masking helps us sometimes pass as NT, even as it inhibits our functioning. Of course, we burnout from too much masking, which is why coming up with our own coping strategies is a big plus!

The #TakeTheMaskOff campaign is already in week 6, but as is typical with me on social media, I’m running a bit behind. I thought this video on autism diagnosis had some useful tips regarding unmasking to work better.
