If you give a dog somewhere safe to live, a cosy cushion to lie on, something to eat then shower with affection you’ll receive unconditional love and devotion for the rest of it’s life in return, lol for those who haven’t owned a dog just won’t understand what an earth us dog owners are talking about!
One day when circumstances change I’ll get another.
My husband and I just rescued a dog, and she has been so good for us! (Such a challenge, but also great.). Our end goals is to train her to become a therapy dog, as there is so much success in the comfort they can give
I’m lucky to have a fenced in back yard by the swamp so have always had at least 3 dogs at a time. They don’t care if I’m labeled autistic. They’re somewhat autistic, too 🙂
I presently have a cat, but in the past I had three dogs, all Labradors. I think Labradors are the best of all the dog breeds because of their unwavering loyalty and hard-working ethic, especially with disabled people. 🐶 🐕 🐩
Dogs are my teachers, healers, angels, and the reflect of God’s unconditional love in my life. I’m so thankful for them. I love them so much I dedicated one of my blogs to them ❤ Thanks for your post.
I love all of my furr-babies! Although they are less than 20lbs. each, the three of them in the bed with my hubby and me is like wrestling gators! Wouldn’t change it for the world!!!
Dogs are amazing! Wonderful post!
I run an animal blog and I run a series called Dog Breeds 101 which teaches people what it takes to own different breeds! If you’ve got some spare time I’d love for you to check it out and let me know what you think! http://www.animal-travels.com
Lyric Rivera, an Autistic self-advocate from Texas, runs the the internationally recognized neurodiversity lifestyle blog Neurodivergent Rebel.
Neurodivergent Rebel was opened in 2016, as a way to introduce people unfamiliar with autism to neurodiversity. The blog, which is sometimes released in written format and also via YouTube video, explores the ideology of neurodiversity and the creative expressions of autistic people. Riveras’ blog pushes for acceptance of neurological differences and respect for the autonomy of neurodivergent people.
Lyric is also known as the pioneer of the #AskingAutistics hashtag, which is often accompanied by a short question about everyday autistic experiences. This simple hashtag connects neurodiverse people who would not otherwise have a reason to engage with each other to foster understanding of the autistic experience.

I agree! I speak dog better than human some days.
Dogs have much to teach humans about being human if you permit them. Live simply, enjoy the present and appreciate the here and now.
Yay, dogs!
Completely agree. Dogs are amazing. 🙂 xxx
Dogs love us unconditionally. Our mood doesn’t matter. Good hair day? Doesn’t matter. Our dogs love us. Thanks for the post. Ray

I just read another blog about dogs. Not as positive, but still about dogs. There are dogs everywhere. LoL
Without my dog I would be lost. When all else vanish the dog is there.
I want to say “I grew up with dogs”, but that sounds like the Jungle Book. Stop laughing. My parents always had dogs. There. That sounds better 🙂
I was raised by dogs. 🤓😜🐕
Sadie looks just like my boy Brando! And probably just as loveable!
Dogs are the beeeeessst. Mine is called Rumble and I LOVE him. Have you seen @dog_rates on twitter? It is my favourite place on the internet 🙂
I like dogs. They are loving creatures. Care for them and they return the favour.

I’m a firm believe that dogs are better than people! I’d be lost without my golden retriever Cody 🙂
Dogs are brilliant. We don’t have one of our own yet but we sometimes look after one for friends and we adore her.
I do the same thing with my rat terrier! She even does that when I’m hyperventilating. Dogs are the best.
They are amazing,so honest and so great

That is hilarious! Both of my dogs jumped up and ran over to see what was going on. lol. Dogs rule.
It’s so interesting how they know when we are sad!
Sadie knows the minute my heart rate goes up, before I do.
