Hi, Thanks for sharing. Social anxiety is so complex, but it can be managed and I’m happy to hear you’re sharing your story in order to help others. I’ve had social anxiety since elementary school and I just began understanding its origins and beginning my healing process. I look forward to more blog posts 😀
Thank so much for sharing this and helping others. I have social anxiety too and for me writing really helps me to reach out to people in ways i couldn’t do face to face. Again thank you for talking about social anxiety
I’ve had social anxiety since I was about two or three years old but only realised this since I started my blog last August. I’m 57, so I’ve had it a very long time..
Thanks for talking about it and I shall be interested in how you get along with your goal. It’s a great goal to work towards 🙂
Thank you for the like. Well, some of us are better with coping with problems. And it’s good that you found some relief. It’s hard to find a good doctor, but when you do, don’t change. Medicines aren’t always good. And sometimes, we need some good old fashion soul searching with someone who can really help. Well, that’s all for now and in the meantime HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I enjoy reading your post about anxiety. I suffer from anxiety disorder and everyday is a challenge for me. Please subscribe to manage blog for more read about my struggles with anxiety and how I manage it. http://anxiousself.com
Thanks for sharing, I’m so glad I’m not the only one. It’d be great if some of you could check out my blog and follow me as I talk about mental disorders and my social anxiety. Hope you can give me some tips on how to control it.
Lyric Rivera, the creator of Neurodivergent Rebel and founder of Neurodivergent Consulting, is a late-identified Autistic and ADHD adult.
Lyric is best known for their blog, NeuroDivergent Rebel, and for the best-selling business ethics book, Workplace Neurodiversity Rising (which was praised in Forbes as “an excellent ‘how to manual’ based on lived Experience and professional competence.”)
Other titles Lyric has worked on include the popular children's workbook Autism, Identity, and Me (adult version coming soon), and Neurodivergent Rebel's The Weight of Normal (released this past fall).
The philosophy of Neurodivergent Consulting is to support the creation of accessible workplaces and other spaces (via universal design) that enable Neurodivergent (and all) people to fully realize their unique talents and fresh perspectives through care and support of the whole person. This allows us to bring our full selves to the spaces we enter.
Lyric is also known as the creator of the #AskingAutistics hashtag, which often features a short question about everyday autistic experiences. This simple hashtag connects neurodiverse people who would not otherwise have a reason to engage with each other to create a better understanding of the Autistic experience.

It’s a real thing people tends to judge of why can you do this and not that. I focus a lot on mental health and the entire person as a whole.
A great video. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
