It doesn’t feel right, brushes, picks, and gloves invading and overwhelming my senses. Still, despite times of great discomfort, I take care of my teeth. If I don’t they will surely fall out. Continue reading Why I Took a Half Day for a Dental Appointment

Mindfulness and meditation have been a big part of my life for several years now. I’m always happy to share with people how helpful meditation is for me.
Unfortunately almost everyone I talk to about meditation “can’t meditate”.
“I wish I could meditate. My mind isn’t made for that!” or “I can’t stand being still”, a few of the most common excuses why people tell me they “can’t meditate”.

They ate real, organic, whole foods, exercised constantly and spent most of their time outdoors. Continue reading Is The Modern Lifestyle Deadly? – Returning to a Natural Rhythm
Our joy, and perhaps even our curse, as human beings often come from our ability to chose the way we will view and interpret the world. People who are able to grow a more sunny outlook on things are happier and have less stress than those who tend to focus on their problems. It seems like a no-brainer – always think about the best parts of every situation. Still, many of us find ourselves stuck on the negatives. Continue reading Good Day or Bad Day?
